Keep Striving for Your Goal
Slow Progress is Still Progress
We often get discouraged with slow progress when working towards our goals.
Sometimes we assume we aren’t making progress, forgetting that progress isn’t always tangible.
Just because we don’t feel or see progress doesn’t mean changes aren’t happening under the surface.
Progress towards any goal means seeing progress on some days followed by feelings of no progress on other days.
We might see progress tomorrow or have a breakthrough next week. Sticking with our goals during hard times is the key to reaching those moments.
How to view slow progress
Slow progress is better than standing still
You don’t know where you will be 6 months or a year from now.
Chances are if you stick with your goal for 6 months to a year, you will see progress. You may have not reached your goal but you will witness progress.
It’s important to keep going during times of plateau or slow progress because change is usually around the corner.
Slow progress adds up over time. Remind yourself that slow progress is better than standing still.
